This year's Book Festival will be October 11th and 12th at the Charleston Civic Center.
Besides all the standard stuff for people who are interested in writing, Bob McLeod the co-creater and illustrator of The New Mutants will be there. McLeod has also worked on The Incredible Hulk, Conan the Barbarian, The Legion of Super Heroes, Detective Comics, Wonder Woman, and The New Titans, as well as penciling Star Wars and several Spider-Man fill-ins for Marvel.
There will also be several vendors, exhibits, a used book sale on Saturday, author signings, and programs for all ages.
