I look forward to next year.
Will Kyo return to defend his title of Tsubasacon's King of Mountain as well?

Something that I was thinking of when I read your feedback was to maybe have the liquidy anti-peresperant items available for use and of course for the taking. It is just as effective as a spray but not without the harmful effects on guests within the Convention. I will be happy to address that on our things to do list for the 2009 convention.

Thanks for the notice and sorry about not being able to accommodate that.
I would also suggest an one of those giant anti bacterial waterless hand sanatizers, in each hallway towards the ends - or near the doors, this way when people enter and exit, they have a chance to rid their grubby hands away...........uh from grub?

Now I have to admit that is a fantastic idea that we can implement for the 2009 convention with one exception though...the dispensers. I'm not sure if the Convention Center would be putting up those anytime soon but big bottles of hand sanitizer solution (like you would see at Wal*Mart, Target, etc.), that is absolutely doable. I will pass this suggestion on here when we convene.

Thank you for the great suggestion. Smiley

I think I had the most fun yet this year, and I've gone every year but 2006. Last year I couldn't stay long, so was a little disappointed (through no fault of you guys, obviously, just fault of my schedule's xD), but this year I was there quite a bit of Friday and Saturday, and it was just amazing. The Whose Line sessions were a highlight, and I love how big the masquerade's gotten! Heck, I love how big the con itself has gotten. Watching it grow has been so fun. I'm sure next year it'll be even better. Thank you all staff and volunteers for making the con so awesome, and also thank you everyone who attended, I had tons of fun with everyone I met.

The parent pass question is kind of tricky, because you can't really tell if someone's there for the con or there for their child just by looking. Maybe give the parent/guardian a half-price pass for an underage child no questions asked. That way if the parent wants to participate they're not getting a free ride just because they have a kid, but even if they don't, they're not paying an arm and a leg when their only concern is supervising their child.

I miss the con already. My body ached for days after but I didn't care because it was all worth it and I'm definitely having high hopes for next year as well.

I hate to point out the obvious here - but smack dab right in the middle of the convention center are BATHROOMS - with SINKS, SOAP and WATER!  ^___^  Keeping people clean is not really our responsibility but each person's!  Unfortunately with the nature of anime conventions you've got grubby, sweaty people all over the place - they don't think about washing up, but I guess you've got to expect that and at least hint towards making it easier to clean up (like with the cleanliness station) - and for those of us who worry about santitary conditions, bringing along your OWN sanitizer shouldn't be out of the question.

I think the ConFunk table was a great idea and where is was placed was even better I could se where maybe putting a bottle of hand sanatizer there might be an okay idea but any where else not realls cause as you said, its our role as con-goers to be clean and keep down the funk.

I do hope to see the confunk table back next year, but like a few other people I had to avoid that table a lot because I am highly allirgeric to cocanut and some of them bottles had high amounts in it. Other than that I think it was a great idea.

Maybe we should have signs in the bathrooms that say, "Fight the funk! Wash your hands!"

I will add that sign to the growing queue for the 2009 convention. Seriously, that is a good idea. It would be a polite way to stay sanitary Smiley.

"Don't be a skunk, fight the funk!" was another idea, but it just seemed silly.

Well, there *is* an animated skunk that uses Kung Fu.

Fair Use by a non-profit in a not-for-profit usage might have potential...
