It's not that big a deal. I'm happy, actually, to hear that we were supposed to get certificates, but didn't due to some mix-up. I was afraid it was intentional, that something had been changed and now the winners would only get cash prizes, nothing else.

You're posting in the wrong thread.  ^^;

The only problem I saw with the masquerade was the western category needed more than one award.  I saw some good western cosplay that deserved something. And putting novices with advanced people in western is not a good idea.  My skills are crap compared to the Master Chief armor (which was awesome) who is more advanced than me.

And maybe like a cosplay feedback panel after the masq like Ohayocon has would be nice too or feeback on how we did on the competition.  Hey, I'm always ready to listen to options on how to improve my outfit!

I wasn't in a skit.  I only did craftsmanship western influence for my Katara cosplay.
