Tsubasacon 2009

What can I say? It was a tad different, but most of what I saw was expected. I was nervous at first and Farix, if he ever remembered would know first hand with my shaking papermonies. I met a lot of nice people and I was overly tempted to ask if they knew me from gaiaonline or they recognized my username from the forum. While I got a range of responses and even noticed someone that fit the description of a Naruto/fur/cartoon thing that I had seen on the forum a month back, it was fun. ( Lol run-on sentence? I digress... )
I was pleased to have met the voice actor of a lot of my favorite shows, Axel Rod, and to have gotten an autograph from him. I commissioned myself, and got much bang for my buck. While there were a few minor disappointments and some situations that I felt I embarrassed myself in, I was greatly satisfied with the toleration I got in return. If any noticed, I was probably the only one that had a certain death grip on the Tsubasacon pamplet, (( Typo? Sorry, not at home, without FireFox :c )) I had found that I lost it and found it on the floor adjacent to a vending machine and a trash can, this automatically sent the message to me that I, myself, had actually felt to welcomed that I had gotten a tad care-free. (( I picked it up because it had my autograph in it xD )) I feel as though I'm dragging this on, so I'll leave it at that.

Wait, scratch what I said about the pamplet, I just dropped it because I always stayed near the restrooms to try and pick up a conversation xD, but still... MINE.

It was really awsome !!! I had a lot of fun and got really good photos too ! Oh if you want to know who I was, If you saw a girl in a blue tank top / with Sasuke's symbol on the back and the white skirt with white  tights and heels , that would be me !! If I didn't see you I must have been busy with other stuff. I am glade you had fun. I hope next year it will be even better !

Thank you for taking the time to share your praises with us. Please note that we will have a survey coming up here very soon that we ask everyone to take so that we make 2009 bigger, better, and badder than this year's convention. Our goal was to make things better for all and also not have all the main events on one side of the convention. I feel that spreading things out not only made the convention traffic more balanced but also we were able to have a larger gaming room & vendor room.

We look forward to moving ahead into 2009 with the full force of everyone behind it.

This was my first anime con. I absolutely loved every moment of it. Aside from the furry costume I wore for only a short time, I didn't really have much in lines of a costume. Oh well. I loved seeing lots of others dressed up. There was lots to do and see and woah. I still am pretty excited about the con over all. WAY different from the Rocky Horror con I've been to [possibly for the better in this situation.]

I made some pretty good friends, got some really cool goodies, got a few nice pics. Everything was really awesome, and definately makes me want to go to future anime cons. My only dissapointment is it being over and having to say bye. D:

I can't wait 'till next year.

This is my 3rd year attending this convention, and the most amazing and fun year yet!

I really felt like I was a part of the con this year. During the first year I attended back in '06, my friends and I were the youngest ones there, around age 12: we didn't feel like we belonged the best for were were picked on. xD Last year when we attended, I found that we were accepted more, but didn't participate that much. And this year, at age 14, I was both included and took part in everything I could. I'm glad I did too, because it was loads of fun! Aha.

On Friday I cosplayed as Naruto, Saturday as Kadaj, and Sunday as myself. xD PLEATHER IS AS HOT AS HECK WHEN THE SUN IS OUT. UGH. The entire day I was sweating and I was sticking to the inside of my outfit. But it was all worth it because I got tons of pictures, lots of hugs, and had to protect my Mother-In-A-Box which was made out of duct tape and a gram-crackers box. My friends and I also did our first skit, and even though we didn't win anything we were happy as can be! ^^ On Saturday we also went to the rave until 1:00 after running around trying to find food forever (We walked through the Wendy's drive though since it was open but they wouldn't serve us because we weren't in a car). RAVE = FTW. That was my favorite part of the con and I wish we could've stayed longer. The bass made me feel wonderful. ♥

Besides that, the Karaoke was awesome (We did CaramallDansen), Kyo's panels were freaking hilarious, and the artists in Artists' Alley won my love and support. I could write a book on all the fun I had, but this is long enough as is.

Today I kept nearly crying because it was over. ): I don't want to go back to reality!

Once again, THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH FOR A WONDERFUL YEAR AT TSUBASACON! Wish it was '09!

First let me start by thanking that Staff & Volunteer's, the con was great this year and every one was just so nice, I cant believe the weekend went so fast.Again thanks to everyone I honestly think this is one of the best things that could happen in WV definitely for the younger ones, and I mean come on who doesn't like to dress up?



And to all the first time con'goers  hope you come back next year!

This may not be my place to reply since I am not staff but, there is no reason to feel stupid for asking any questions at all weather it be something little or something big right guys? And I am sure the staff didn't mind to help you out they wanted you to have as much fun as you could. And its better to ask than not ask well that how I feel about it anyway.
