I'd have to say that mine would be around Harajuku station! Harajuku style is the AWESOMEST style ever!! Wooh! I wish I could go to Japan... Some of you have proably been there before, but I haven't..T-T  But anyway, Harajuku is awesome! =D |

i think i could speak for most and say that one part of japan isn't enough for me, i would be all over japan if i were to visit. just cuase i love tokyo and all the high tech stuff of that city, then i would go country side just to see old parts of japan cause history plays a big part....so i would say all of japan not just one area. but harajuku yeah i love the style and i love the looks people come out with at the stations walkway....^.^

Yeah, the history is cool too, but the pop-culture of Tokyo is just awesome! I love their music sooo much! Like, Utada Hikaru, Puffy AmiYumi, Chieko Kawabe, Morning Musume, and J-Rock bands like The GazettE and stuff~! ^-^ yeah, Harajuku station and the bridge are totally awesome~!!  |

Sweet. Utada Hikaru is my all time fave of ANY singer and genre though. She's been putting out hits since 1998, even though she started in 1995 as "Cubic U". "Passion" is my favorite song by her.. By anyone actually.. lol

Wow that got off topic quickly. I'll put it back (Lifts up a section of track and puts it down in the correct direction).
My favorite place in Japan is Shibuya. Shibuya is one of Tokyo's most colorful and busy districts and birthplace to many of Japan's fashion and entertainment trends. Most of the area's large department and fashion stores belong to either Tokyu or Seibu, and both make some awesome fashion. I just would love to go there and see all the awe inspiring outfits. that would be great.

I don't really have a favorit place but there are definatly a lot of places I want to go in Japan, when I vist there one of the first places I plan to go is Tokyo, one bulding I am very intrested in getting to see and vist is the Konomi (I spelled that wrong I think) Building.

My Japanese class is most likely taking a trip over to Japan sometime this year or next year. We're gonna be all over the country.  My favorite part would have to be Tokyo for the techology and the lights and the fashion. It's so amazing! |

You guys sould study up on it more. Tokyo is so over rated, True its what you here most about and trust me i would love to go to the Square Enix store. But Japan is such a brilliant place... try a new area. Ever hear of Tajimi or Nara?
In Nara for example is so cool and very very tragic at th same for example because the Japanese have forced the Shika (Reindeer) out of their natural habitat they co-exist with the people in the city. So you can be drving down the the deer will be trotting down the road. You can feed them senbe crackers and everything, So the deer are tame.
In Taijimi, the park has a ton of monkeys that run run wild on the cliffs and a theme park is so close by so you can party with nature and technology.
Its stuff like that you never see in Tokyo. Also every large Japanese city has is "shibuya" and "Akihabara". Its not so great either. I went to Osu (Nagoya's equivlant to Akihabara) And there was "Kapone" (mafia= pun off of Al Capone) running anround every where so it was dangerous. When I went back a week later I discovered that I could find the same stuff in Apita ( think Japanese walmart) or in the back alleys of any city.
Do some research and I dare you to go outside of the big city...you be amazed. I bet you guys could find cooler places than I saw. Just look for it and dont limit yourself.
