This is something a friend and I have been working on for a while...  we're having issues hammering out whether some of the stages are "neutral" or not...  in the strictest sense, there were only four stages available...  I think we'll have it expanded to ten.  Stay tuned.

We now have 8 tournament-legal stages selected for the convention; we hope to raise this number to ten, but it's a difficult prospect.

Current legal stages include Battlefield, Final Destination, Luigi's Mansion, Yoshi's Island (Brawl), Lylat Cruise, Pokemon Stadium 2, Smashville, and Pokemon Stadium (Melee).  Those still under consideration include Delfino Plaza, Mario Circuit, Frigate Orpheon, and Shadow Moses Island.

I'll be entering the tourney for sure. I can't play as Sonic since smash balls are out, but I have a character for situations just like this. I hope I can get past the first round this time. XD
