Does anyone on here play Go (i-go)? I just gotta know, I dont wanna be the only one who plays in the Tri-state area. The reason why Im asking is that I want to keep my skills sharp and formally challenge  you  do a Go match at Tusbasa con! Any takers? I'll teach you if you like, I have two Go boards too so it cool. I just wanna play in real life, its been a good while. Like I said im im trying to keep my skills sharp meaning that I havent played forever and im not a strong player either.

I'm not very good but I do know how play, not very well and I am not sure I know all the rules but I am a decent player, though I have never played one a reall bored. But I would gladly play you

Cool, its fun to play on a real go board. I may try to play you both on at the same time of two seprate boards then. I play by the Japanese rules even though I know the Chinese rules. I like the Japanese Rules much better, try to brush up on them if you can. If you cant then it'll be fine, I just have to walk you through it.

Go?!?  I'm still trying to figure out Shogi and Chinese Chess!!!  Now Stratego on the other hand...

I'm not really sure which rules I know, I learned from Hikura No Go and my friend taught me she should also be at the con so she might play you.

Genma- if you would like me to teach you to play shogi a little more smoothly I can. Im a shogi player no doubt however Im a Go through and through through. I have a shogi board and the peices. I think i would like a good shogi game too.

Tell me when you guys are free and I'll set up a time. It'll be one on one unless you feel like letting me play two matches at once.

 Katsumi- Its the same rule from Hikaru no Go Im glad to hear you have leanred then from a living person though. While all the rules are true in Hikaru it better to go a bit more in depth. Than what is seen in a 25 minuet anime.

Dont by shy guys! Just walk up and ask for a game...I would love to have a few rounds.

So you have played a real person but not on a board? Im guessing it was over the internet then correct? DGS or Yahoo?

So its okay that all of us play on a 19X19 grid. Im willing to go for a smaller board on a teaching game.

No it wasn't the net I bought this games thing that came with 25 different games and one of the boards has a small go board on it so thats how I played.

My friend might be going with me and if she does I am almost positive she will want to play you as well we both really enjoy playing.

I don't mind what size we play on I am pretty sure I will be able to learn fast enough to play on a real board.

Do you mind if I ask you where you got your board at?

Is you have played before im sure a 19x19 will be fine.

I actually got my board for christmas two years ago. Its a table top one because im to poor to buy the real one. The one with legs are normally several hundred dollars.

No you don't have to go through all that trouble, the lady who works at Excalibur at the mall said she could probably order me one and put in lay away so I might just do that.

Do you have a preferance of stone color?

There's going to be some tables at the con set at the con set up near the panel rooms for people to use.  Might I suggest using them.

Sounds good Integra.  I've been watching Hikaru no Go for a while, and brushing up on Japanese go and Shogi.  I also have a Chinese chess set.  I'll play you when we both have a bit of time.  Yeah, right I know.
